An independent villa in a quiet neighbourhood, overlooking the vineyards, on a plot of 1500m2.

Setting
The house is situated outside the little village Courthezon. In Couthezon you'll find some shops for your daily shopping and some restaurants and terraces. Courthezon is right in the middle between the famous Avignon and Orange. A perfect spot to start your discovery of our beautiful Provence.

A beautiful "maison de vacance" in the outskirts of Caromb, 10 minutes from Carpentras and just 25 minutes from Avignon. Caromb is one of the picturesque villages sitting in the foothills of the Mont Ventoux which can be clearly seen from the garden.

When you enter the house the comfortable lounge looks out onto the spacious garden so you can keep your eye on the kids whilst they play outside.

The kitchen is fully equipped as you would imagine for a property of this stature. It leads directly onto the dining room but most meals are likely to be eaten outside.

A great deal of care and attention has been devoted to preparing Le Mas Gabriel for your comfort. There are some lovely Provencal features such as the spiral staircase which leads to the first floor.

The bedrooms are on the first floor and are light and airy. The floor is laid to terra cotta giving a truly Mediterranean feel. The tiles help to keep the rooms cool in mid summer.

There is a large covered terrace area where you can eat in the shade. This is located throughout the French windows leading off the kitchen, so ideal for meal preparation. There is of course a BBQ.

There is also a large pergola covered terrace providing sanctuary from the Provencal summer heat where you can keep an eye on the kids in the pool. The beautiful 10 x 5 metre pool is fully enclosed for the protection of children, and the garden surrounding the pool is also enclosed giving parents peace of mind.
An area specially prepared to play boules lies at the end of the garden. The garden is bordered to the east by vines.

The house sits on the edge of the village, far enough away from the centre to feel that you are in the heart of the country, but just 3 or 4 minutes walk from the local shops to buy your groceries. Caromb has excellent local commerce.
