Set in the beautiful countryside of Provence, le Temps de Cerise is a perfect holiday stay for walkers, bikers and those wishing to get off the beaten track, relax and enjoy the many treasures that are to be found in the enchanting department of Vaucluse in Southern France. The house is situated on a plot of 4500 square meters with a lot of privacy
Interior:
Ground Floor: Large living room with a sitting area, TV and DVD player, dining area and fire place – Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, micro wave, dish washer, fridge with freezer and a coffee maker – Side-kitchen with a washing machine, dryer and an extra freezer – Toilet – Bathroom with a wash bin and a bath – Bedroom with a double bed (160 x200) and an own wash bin and terrace.
First Floor: two bedrooms with a double bed each (140 x 190) – Bathroom with a wash bin, a shower and a toilet.
In a separate gîte: two bedrooms. One of them has two single beds and the other one has a sleeping sofa for two persons – Bathroom with a wash bin, shower and a toilet. The gîte has also its own fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
Garden: Swimming pool ( 11,5 x 5,5, deep up to 1,65 meter), 4 sun beds with mattresses, 4 sun chairs – terrace with Furniture – BBQ – playground for the children.
The house is appropriate for a holiday with several families
Setting
The house is situated in the countryside, not far from the little village Loriol du Comtat. In Loriol du Comtat you can do your daily shopping. The larger village Carpentras, the capital of the Vaucluse, lies about 10 kilometres further.
This region is full of Romans and Medieval history. It takes 20 minutes drive to Orange with its famous ancient amphitheatre and the Arc de Triomphe. Vaison-la-Romaine (one hour drive) is also home to a famous Roman theatre and other ancient ruins.
Avignon, at a half hour’s drive, has a lot of medieval buildings from the Avignon Papacy. The Palais du Pape and the pont d’ Avignon.
There are a lot of small villages with markets and restaurants in the area and don’t forget the famous wine houses.
