The Mas Notre Dame has a luxurious interior and is decorated with a great taste by its owner. This former nunnery with a chapel (now in disuse) dates from the 17th century, but is carefully renovated. The house lies on a large plot of 7000 square metres with a marvellous view over the surroundings. Once you discovered this spot, you''ll keep returning.
Interior
Entrance: Half open fully eqquipped kitchen and a dining room, with a stove, oven, dish washer, micro-wave oven, freezer, kettle, coffee-maker, toaster and a large American Refrigerator - In the scullery another fridge and the washing machine - Spacious living room with an open fire place, TV, CD player and DVD player. On both sides of the room are French doors leading to the terraces at the front and at the back of the house - The former rectory has now given place to two bedrooms with twin beds (2 x 90) and a sharing bathroom with a shower, wash bin and a toilet.
On the first floor, in the main house, are four bedrooms, one of them with double beds (160x200) and a bathroom ensuite, with bath, shower, wash bin and toilet and the other 3 bedrooms have twin beds (2x90) and a bathroom each with shower, wash bin and toilet. All bed rooms are decorated with taste and an eye for details.
Garden: The house lies on a large plot, 7000 square metres, in park-like garden. On both sides of the house you have access to the terraces. There is a heated and fenced off salt water swimming pool (6 x 12 m, deep till 2,1 m) with 12 sun beds, a trampoline, a ping-pong table, a small tree-cabin and enough space to play soccer! Next to the house is a large covered terrace for rainy or windy days. At the backside of the house you'll find a very large terrace over the length of the house from where you have a magnificent view at the village, the valley and the mountains around.
Setting
The house lays just outside the village Villes sur Auzon. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the centre and get your morning bread and fresh croissants. The larger city Carpentras at 17 kilometres. A perfect spot to start your discovery tour around the Provence, but also a very nice place for a lazy day at the swimming pool.
